Development Governance - eXtendCode Offshore Development Methodology (EODM) @ eXtendCode |
eXtendCode Offshore Development Methodology (EODM) is specifically designed to provide software services keeping offshore challenges in mind. At the same time, EODM is consistently used for different engagement models like Fixed Price and Time & Material.
|
| Fixed Price |
| Fixed Price model is suitable for projects where scope and requirements are relatively static. EODM for Fixed Price is based on phases (Evaluation, Development & Test, Customer Acceptance & Delivery and Maintenance), which are controlled by using well defined processes and deliverables (e.g. Project Charter, Project Plan, Specification, Validation Checklist Report, Maintenance Plan). EODM uses well defined online collaboration tools (i.e. Client Portal) to provide an oversight on project deliverables and enable project team (including customer) to take proactive measures to address issues.
Each phase is further divided into clear steps to ensure effective project execution and monitoring.

Time & Material
Time & Material model is suitable for projects where project scope and requirements are evolutionary such as in product development. EODM for Time & Material is based on phases (Evaluation, Development & Test, Customer Acceptance & Delivery), which are controlled by using well defined processes and deliverables (e.g. Requirements, QM Test Report, Validation Checklist Report).
EODM uses online collaboration tools like Client Portal (i.e. Client Portal) to provide an oversight on project deliverables and enable project team (including customer) to take proactive measures to address issues.
